BLAKE EMMONs

{ My apologies for the incomplete picture. My young son Quinn took it; but I'm sure Blake wouldn't mind }

Blake could hardly wait to take off in one!

One of two new vans Blake's friend generously gave us for traveling is in the background.

Blake took off in one of these too!

Here are some pix of the indoor gardens at the hotel we stayed at during our gig in

Blackfalds, Alberta

We had the best time playing the Blackfalds Motor Inn! (Check the marquis spelling!)

Our show went over big wherever we played. Blake was so well-known throughout Canada's three most-western provinces

because of his dedicated work with the Variety Club Telethon for kids.

Many fans became friends during our gigs, and especially in friendly little Blackfalds.

I particularly remember one true fan Gary Albers, who drove from Lacombe, Alberta to hear us every single night.

Saskatchewan

And in between, the flatter-than-water-on-a-board province of Saskatchewan - the only picture I needed to take

Blake took us to Salmon Arm to see the salmon returning to spawn

Terry Lee our guitarist and Alan at Salmon Arm

If you look closely, you can see the red salmon in the stream.

For those not familiar with British Columbia, Salmon Arm is one location where salmon watchers

are able observe all five North American Pacific salmon; the Pink, Sockeye, Chum, Coho, and Chinook.

In late autumn, the salmon return to their natal stream to spawn, after an amazing North Pacific journey.

The Town & Country Inn featured us...AND.....The Pacific Western Brewing Company's Yellowhead beer...(look closely)

Our crew guy, our sound man Richard, Terry, Blake, Matt and Alan with Anne, public relations director of the brewery.

Anne took us for a tour and gave us free range in testing the excellent suds!

How can you turn down all that beer, Matt?

Story-telling while we sample that great Yellowhead beer the brewery is so famous for
