Opening night of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival June 21st, 1996
I asked Bill Buckingham to be the original producer of "SMILE" in May of 1996.
After one of the studio sessions in June, he took me across the bay and up Grouse Mountain with him. He was doing sound for Skywalk's performance.
Incidently, Bill produced the 'Skywalk' albums as well, and still is their concert sound guy.

I was more than happy that Bill acquired the exceptional talents of Tom and Jim McGillveray for "SMILE"
